Meet Dr. Fisher

Dr. Matthew A. Fisher, D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Fisher was born and raised in Southeastern Massachusetts. He is a graduate of Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood, MA. In 2002, he was a distinguished graduate of the 6-year Dental program at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, where he received both a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. Shortly after graduation, Dr. Fisher accepted a commission into the United States Air Force as part of the Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship Program. In 2003, he earned a certificate of training from the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Bolling Air Force Base, Washington D.C. He completed his active duty military commitment as a General Dental Officer at Whitman Air Force Base, Missouri. In 2007, Dr. Fisher received a certificate of specialty in Endodontics and a Masters of Science Degree from Marquette University, Milwaukee Wisconsin. Soon after, he returned to the northeast and worked as an associate Endodontist in southeastern Massachusetts for seven years.  In 2014, Dr. Fisher fulfilled his dream by opening Bay State Endodontics, LLC.  He is a published author in a reputable peer-reviewed journal and he is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, and Massachusetts Dental Society.

Dr. Fisher is married to Dr. Nisha Kumar Fisher. They are proud parents of three children. In his free time, Dr. Fisher enjoys traveling, sporting activities, and spending time with family and friends.
